Cultured pearls

Pearls will never be out of fashion.
“Pearl is always right”, – said Coco Chanel after she created some classical combination of pearls with black sweater, jacket and little black dress. Pearl makes such outfits look luxurious and sophisticated.
Choosing Pearl is always right. Hyrv.

Onyx

In correct usage, the name refers to a black and white banded variety of Agate, or sometimes a monochromatic agate with dark and light bands (brown and white for example) – but traditionally the name was reserved for black and white banded agate.

In the Bible it is one of the precious jewels, which were set in the high priest’s breastplate and is said to be one of the twelve jewels set in the wall of the New Jerusalem.
Onyx is found mostly in India and South America. We use Indian onyx in our jewelry.

Amber

Amber is one of the few precious substances on earth considered as a gem, which is not of mineral origin, but vegetative origin. It is a fossilized tree resin formed tens of millions of years ago and it took hundreds of climate changes to be formed. Legend says that amber was believed to provide magicians and sorcerers with special enhanced powers.

We use in our jewellery egg yolk amber from Baltic sea. Its bright fresh yellow colour brings youthfulness to the wearer.
In terms of appearance, amber is suitable for women with warm colour types for spring and autumn.

Jewellery has been worn from early times as a protection from the dangers of life and as a mark of status or rank. Amber was worn as amulets to preserve chastity and used as talismans to guard against evil.

Amber is believed to help to remove energy blockages and strengthen physical body. Amber stirs the soul, delights the eye, warms the heart and excites the world’s scientific imagination.

Lapis Lazuli

Alluring lapis is an aggregate of several minerals, mainly lazurite, calcite, and pyrite. In ancient times lapis was valued for its vivid, exquisite colour, and prized as high as other blue gems like sapphire and turquoise.
The colour of lapis is called royal blue for its deep ultramarine shade. During Middle Ages and Renaissance it was used by only accomplished artists as it was most expensive colour pigment for blue colour.
Magical Lapis Lazuli is a soft rock. Wear it gently and try not to damage or friction the surface of rock. Don’t worry about the jewellery that has turned matte with time, it can easily be re-polished at any time.

Lapis Lazuli helps to overcome the fear to start and carry on. It also helps to overcome the low self-esteem and brings back the lost trust and belief in human kindness. The deep blue colour of lapis brings support and self-confidence to its wearer and helps with self-expression in situations, where person needs to defend his point of views.

Aventurine

Aventurine is a variety of translucent quartz or quartzite with abundant small plate- or flake-shaped inclusions.
The most common inclusion in aventurine is fuchsite, a green chromium-rich mica. Just a few percent fuchsite by volume can impart a distinct green colour of aventurine. Aventurine is most often green, but also occurs in orange, yellow, red, pink, brown, white, gray, and blue.

India is by far the most important commercial producer of aventurine and Hyrv uses Indian aventurine in its jewellery.

Moonstone

According to Hindu mythology, moonstone is made of solidified moonbeams. Many old cultures associate this gem with moonlight, and it’s easy to see why. Its internal structure scatters the light that strikes it, creating a phenomenon known as adularescence. The visual effect is reminiscent of the full moon shining through a veil of thin, high clouds.

Moonstone’s unearthly glow is caused by light scattering between microscopic layers of feldspar. Moonstone is not very hard, which means that this mineral needs to be carried carefully. Do not leave your jewellery under the open sun rays for long time and try not to drop it on the floor. Moonstone colours are as subtle and elegant as soft and natural fabrics, and therefore go perfectly with fall and winter wardrobe.

We use Indian moonstones, because these are the most colorful ones.

Moonstone improves karma of people who have difficulties in relationships, it brings stable emotional state and positive thoughts. It is said to be good for people who have challenging relationship with their mother. Watching into the moonstone can be very gratifying. It will bring you a soft and harmonious feeling inside. Try it.

Pearls

People have coveted natural pearls as symbols of wealth and status for thousands of years. Pearls are treasures from the Earth’s ponds, lakes, seas, and oceans, and they’ve always embodied the mystery, power, and life-sustaining nature of water.
The spherical shape of some pearls led many cultures to associate this gem with the moon. In ancient China, pearls were believed to guarantee protection from fire and fire-breathing dragons. In Europe, they symbolized modesty, chastity, and purity.
Pearls are simply and purely organic.

We use freshwater pearls and Akoya pearls. Freshwater pearl luster has more softer, more subtle glow than Akoya saltwater pearls due to the way in which light reflects and refracts off the various layers of crystal. Akoya pearls feature sharp, and highly reflective luster. It is very bright, with a very high rate of light return on the surface of the pearl. Choose Akoya pearls, if you’re looking for a very special keepsake strand of pearls that will be treasured and cared for well over the years, and possibly handed down to the next generation. We use Akoya sea pearls in our legendary Coco collection since 2012.

We bring Akoya sea pearls directly from Japan and our freshwater pearls come from China. Akoya pearls must be properly cared for to keep their crystal looking bright and shiny. These pearls are sensitive to oils, perfumes, smoke, chlorine and other chemicals found in our environment. Wipe them down with a damp, soft cloth every time after wearing to remove residues from the pearls’ surfaces.

If you have troubles in emotional sphere – difficulties in showing affection, complimenting others, then you definitely need a good pearl jewellery.
Touch the pearl as often as you can and she will give you all her perfection and harmony.
