IT WAS A TIME THAT WAS A TIME is a unique smoky ambergris fragrance created between British artist Shezad Dawood and French perfumer Nicolas Bonneville. Premiered as an olfactive experience at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn in September 2015 together with Shezad Dawood’s solo show.

The perfume contains dark, smoky, and incensed woods mixed with ambergris, marine overtones, and a touch of immortelle absolute. Unique and recognizable.
