Lõhnaküünal “LINNUKUU”

26.00

Linnukuu meaning “Birds month” refers to all the birds returning to our northern parallels from the south for the nesting period. It is the time when nature makes its first attempts to resurrect after being buried by a thick layer of snow – here and there you notice the first green leaves and spring flowers popping up and you can feel the diversity of smells intensifying.

The scent of Linnukuu starts from top notes of lime and bergamot combined with a heart of basil, clove and nutmeg. After a while your nose starts to sense a splendid mixture of vetiver, tonka, cedar and sandalwood. The fresh and green top notes are interacting with the warm base which creates a perfect imitation of the transition from winter to spring.

Safety and care:

  • Always trim wicks to 5 mm and remove any wick debris before lighting. We use 100% cotton, lead free wicks. Sometimes you will notice a ‘mushrooming’ of the wick. To provide the cleanest burn possible, we recommend you remove the black ‘mushroom’ before burning and periodically during the burning.
  • The first time you light your candle, you must let it burn for 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent your candle from tunneling.
  • Candles are sensitive to temperature and light. Avoid candles from melting and cracking by storing your candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, dust and fluorescent light. Store your candles in an upright position and don’t leave your candles in your car on a warm day.
